What Has Changed Since the Severe UK Flooding of 2007?
The flooding in June and July of 2007 was some of the worst to hit Britain in a lifetime. The period was England's wettest on record and 23 counties and regions were affected by flooding during this age. The rescue effort was described by the fire supply at the age, as the "largest in peacetime Britain," and the floods caused widespread hurt to buildings, businesses and agriculture.
